When will Charlotte Flair return to WWE to beat John Cena, dad Ric's championship records?

Fans began being on the lookout, in a serious manner, at the end of July . Three weeks later though, the question still remains. When will 16-time world champion Charlotte Flair return from her catastrophic knee injury?

Suffered in December 2023 , Flair's return has been open-ended as ACL injuries (along with MCL and torn meniscus) can take up to a year before an athlete is cleared to return to full duty. Allegedly ahead of schedule, tweets that have indicated the escape from crutches and a walking boot, and donning her wrestling boots, excited many. Still though, she's yet to be teased on Friday Night SmackDown (or Monday Night RAW) and with two PLEs coming down the pike the target remains in doubt.

According to Viper Reports via Cory Hays of PX Nexus on Twitter , November is now the target, and she'll land back in SmackDown.

Charlotte  Flair's current return timetable would have her back and ready to go around in November.

I haven't head of a specific date, but when the time comes, I will update on this further.

The last I heard, she was expected to return to the SmackDown brand.

Flair's return, if indeed to Friday Night Smackdown, will almost assuredly point her in the direction of whomever holds the WWE Women's Undisputed Championship, currently held by Nia Jax.

Flair will apparently never appear again on FOX, as SmackDown is moving to USA Network in October .

Charlotte Flair is currently tied with her father Ric Flair, and John Cena with 16 career World Championships. Cena recently announced his retirement tour that will carry through 2025 and include another Wrestlemania appearance.
