Is Steph Curry done with Golden State Warriors?

It has already been an eventful Summer for Stephen Curry. He won a gold medal while competing in his first Olympic Games and reminded the world why he is one of the most feared basketball players on the planet.

Curry and LeBron James' growing relationship was well documented during their time together with Team USA, leading to speculation that the two are jockeying for a potential team-up .

At first, it seemed to be just speculation, but now, after a series of puzzling decisions, Curry is adding fuel to the fire.

The two-time MVP changed his Instagram bio from "Guard for the Warriors" to "Olympic Gold Medalist," collaborated on a joint post with LeBron James, and changed his profile picture on all social media platforms from a photo of him celebrating the most recent Warriors’ championship to an image of him holding an American flag.

What makes the situation even more head scratching is what Curry had been saying to the media while in Paris. He has clearly stated that he would like to be a Warrior for the entirety of his career, but that comes with a huge caveat.

"If it is a situation where you're a bottom feeder and it's just because you want to stay there, I'd have a hard time with that. But I don't think that's going to be the reality," Curry told Marc Spears of Andscape .

In all likelihood, the Warriors will not be at the bottom of the NBA standings next season, but that is thanks to Curry. Besides the sharpshooter, the team has no other superstars , and his longtime teammate and friend, Klay Thompson, will no longer be with him in Golden State.

"I can clearly say I want to be a Warrior for life. That has always been my goal, and I am saying that sitting in this chair right now, but life, especially life in the NBA, is a wild environment. Things change quickly and the league has changed quickly, so we are trying to adapt and evolve," Curry told Vincent Goodwill of Yahoo Sports .

"I will let everyone know if that changes, but right now, of course, the goal is always to finish my career with one team," Curry went on to say.

It would take a lot for the Warriors to part ways with the franchise's all-time leading scorer, and there are still two years left on Curry's contract. But could his recent actions on social media be the start of what he meant when he said, "I will let everyone know?"
