Even the New York Jets ' All-Pro players are enamored with the ability of their 40-year-old quarterback.

Looking like the four-time NFL MVP he is, Aaron Rodgers put on a passing clinic during Wednesday's joint practice against the New York Giants . He ended the two-minute drill by hooking up with Allen Lazard in the end zone.

"I was just seeing the way that they was operating that two-minute [offense]. it looked crazy," said Jets' two-time All-Pro cornerback Sauce Gardner. "I ain't going to get too ahead of myself. I know they probably going to have the big heads walking into the facility tomorrow, but man, it was crazy."

Gardner, the No. 4 overall draft pick in 2022 , is confident he has never been in the presence of a passer better than Rodgers.

"I've mean he's the best quarterback I've ever seen. I'm not saying that just because he's on my team," said Gardner.

Meanwhile, left tackle Tyron Smith, an eight-time Pro Bowl selection , suggested Rodgers has shown no signs of slowing at this advanced stage of his career.

"He's looking great. Don't know much more to say than that," said Smith. "He has all the respect in the world from me. He's just one of the greats out there and we're just trying to do our best to keep up with the man."

Now, the Jets hope the legendary quarterback can lead them to a legendary season.
