Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior is reportedly open to considering a future Saudi Pro League transfer offer in 2025.

The Brazilian international is the current favourite to win the 2024 Ballon d'Or award after playing a crucial role in Real Madrid's La Liga and UEFA Champions League title double in 2023/24.

The 24-year-old remains central to Carlo Ancelotti's plans, as part of a stellar attack alongside new signing Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham and Rodrygo Goes, but Saudi Arabia is an option.

Vini Jr: €1 billion Saudi Pro League transfer

As per an exclusive report from The Athletic , a Public Investment Fund (PIF) delegation, working on behalf of Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Sport, reached out to Vinicius' representatives over a potential move.

Los Blancos have no current intention of selling their key man, with a €1 billion ($1.1bn) release clause inserted into his contract, which runs until 2027 and Vinicius is determined to continue winning trophies in Madrid.

PIF are looking to secure another world star to be the face of their 2034 FIFA World Cup project but Vinicius has initially opted against a move to the Middle East.

Despite the links appearing to go cold since Vinicius' first update, reports from ESPN claim the deal is not over, and he will look at the situation again at the end of the season.

Vinicius wants to remain focused in Madrid in the months ahead with a $300m annual contract rumoured to be the opening offer.
