Who will leave Wembley Stadium the AEW World Champion when Swerve Strickland defends his title against Bryan Danielson at All In on August 25?

Strickland has held the AEW World Title since April when he defeated Samoa Joe.

Danielson, who began his career in 1999, said he would retire with a loss. Injuries briefly forced him out of action in 2016. Looking to be with family, Danielson, 43, is at peace with potentially hanging up his boots for good.

“To me, it’s now or nothing as far as winning the AEW World Championship. I came in and I said I was going to kick people’s heads in and win the AEW World Championship. I’ve kicked a lot of people’s heads in, but I haven’t won a single title,” Danielson told BBC Radio via Fightful .

“My life is different now. When I was forced to retire, I wasn’t ready. 2015 was kind of my last match, but I was forced to retire in 2016… I have a wonderful family that I’m excited about spending time with and everything. So yeah, it’s a very different place when it’s by choice, and you’re not forced.”

Other wrestlers on the card include Christian Cage, The Young Bucks, Mercedes Mone, Darby Allin, Toni Storm, and more.

The Sporting News will provide results, match grades and analysis, and highlights from AEW All In 2024 .

AEW All In 2024 results, highlights

11:00 a.m. ET: Hello everyone, and welcome to The Sporting News' live coverage of AEW All In 2024!

12 p.m. ET: To open the pre-show, Tommy Billington, Kip Sabian, Rocky Romero, Kyle Fletcher, Lio Rush, Action Andretti, and Top Flight (Darius Martin and Dante Martin) defeated Jay Lethal, Satnam Singh, Anthony Ogogo, Ariya Daivari, Private Party (Zay and Quen), and The Dark Order (John Silver and Alex Reynolds).

It was announced that AEW heads to Australia on February 15 for Grand Slam. It will be in Suncorp Stadium, which can hold over 52,000 fans.

12:15 p.m. ET: Willow Nightingale and Tomohiro Ishii defeated Kris Statlander and Stokely Hathaway. As a result, Willow can choose the stipulation of her match with Statlander at All Out in September.

More announcements from AEW: Forbidden Door comes to London on August 24, 2025.

12:30 p.m. ET: The last pre-show match saw Dustin Rhodes, Sammy Guevara, Katsuyori Shibata, and The Von Erichs (Marshall Von Erich and Ross Von Erich) beat The Undisputed Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) and Cage of Agony (Brian Cage, Bishop Kaun, and Toa Liona). The new Von Erich family get a moment in front of 50,000+.

Saraya comes out with her entire family. She is upset she is not booked for the show after winning the women's world title last year. Jamie Hayter is back after a long absence. Everyone rejoice!

The ladder match for the AEW World Trios Titles starts off the PPV. The Patriarchy (Christian Cage, Killswitch, and Nick Wayne) defend the belts against the Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, and Colten Gunn), House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King, and Buddy Matthews) and Pac and Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta).

Pac, Blackpool Combat Club win trios gold

All teams go after The Patriarchy as Christian left the match. It was chaos to start as House of Black brought out tables. Pac was injured last year and didn't attend the Wembley show. This year, he got a standing ovation. Everyone went over the top rope. The Gunns pull a Dudley Boyz ("get the tables"). Christian returned while everyone was down, but Claudio and King tossed him. Everyone ganged up on him.

Mother Wayne tried to climb up the ladder but the Gunn's stopped her. Killswitch cleaned house until Brody got in the ring. Nick Wayne hit a cutter to Brody through a table. Killswitch went for the titles but Christian wanted the glory. Claudio, who just came back from Mexico, Yuta, and Pac cleared the ring. Chairs got involved thanks to the Gunn's, and they brought out more tables.

Claudio and and Brody had the Gunn's on their back, and they both went through tables with them on their back. Wayne got hit with a ladder. All of the ladders are very small. Wayne hit a destroyer to Black through a table on the outside. Robinson finally got a tall ladder. Cage forced Robinson to fall between the ropes. Pac got hit with the Killswitch through a chair. Cage got hair spray from Mother Wayne to use against Yuta.

Cage and Robinson dueled with chairs. The spray got used against Mother Wayne, but before Robinson can put her through a table, Killswitch put him through it. Matthews hit Killswitch with a ladder, and Christian speared him from the ladder through a table. Killswitch pushed Cage to the ladder, helping him climb up it. Pac climbed and pushed Christian off the ladder. Pac got the belts.

It is likely Pac was supposed to team with Penta and Fenix before all the contract rumors with the Lucha Brothers. So no more Death Triangle. But Pac still gets a moment in London. A solid match with plenty of moments.

    Grade: B

"Timeless" Toni Storm defends the AEW Women's World Title against Mariah May. Surprised the blood rivalry is going second.

The crowd gave the ladies a standing ovation. They get emotional and start beating the other up. Mina Shirakawa is in the crowd. Chops got traded, until Storm landed a big DDT. Hip attack blocked and May landed a powerbomb to the outside.
