The Boston Red Sox have made a couple pitching changes for tomorrow’s double header. Nick Pivetta has been named the game one starter, per Chris Cotillo . Rookie Richard Fitts was expected to be called up to start in the second game, but probably will not be coming up to pitch, also per Chris Cotillo .

Pivetta has posted a 4.70 ERA this season, and has definitely been a hot and cold pitcher. Hopefully he pitches well tomorrow against Toronto.

As for game two of the double-header, it still has not been decided yet, and Tuesday still hasn’t been decided either. Richard Fitts, who is the Sox’s top pitching prospect, has posted a 4.47 ERA in AAA, but he has been dominating this past month .

Games four and five will be started by Brayan Bello, and Kutter Crawford. Both of them had poor outings in their past starts, but they have proven they can take over games.

The first game in the Sox’s final stand to make the playoffs is tomorrow, with it being the suspended game from earlier in the season.
