Manchester United have made their position clear on Jadon Sancho's future as Juventus and Chelsea both express interest in signing the winger before the summer transfer window closes.

According to BBC's Simon Stone, United will only allow Sancho to leave on a permanent deal or a loan with an obligation to buy, ruling out any temporary move that doesn't guarantee his departure.

Juventus, who have been linked with Sancho in recent days, reportedly prefer a straight loan without any obligation to buy, but Manchester United’s stance complicates matters.

Juventus and Chelsea eye Sancho's situation

The Manchester Evening News reports that formal discussions between United and Juventus are expected to take place soon, with a private jet scheduled to fly from Manchester to Turin, possibly for in-person negotiations.

Chelsea are also monitoring the situation closely and could make a late bid to bring Sancho to Stamford Bridge before the English transfer window closes on Friday. Juventus have until Saturday to finalize any deal, giving them a slight edge in time.

Despite being reintegrated into the squad during pre-season, Sancho remains behind the likes of Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Amad Diallo, and Antony in the pecking order for the winger positions at Old Trafford.

He has been absent from United’s Premier League squad so far this season, with manager Erik ten Hag citing undisclosed "issues" and suggesting that Sancho still has work to do to prove his worth.

With the clock ticking, the coming days will be crucial for Sancho’s future as United, Juventus, and potentially Chelsea look to finalize a deal before the transfer window slams shut.
