There certainly will be a lot of movement across the National Football League over the next few days.

Teams have to start getting their rosters ready to go for the regular season and that means plenty of players will be traded and cut in the coming days. Some teams have gotten a head start on the moves and the Chicago Bears are one.

Chicago already has made multiple changes on the roster as it attempts to trim it down and reportedly waived veteran offensive lineman Ja'Tyre Carter on Monday, according to KPRC 2 Houston's Aaron Wilson.

"Bears waive offensive lineman Ja'Tyre Carter, per a league source, interest expected from other (National Football League) teams on waivers," Wilson said.

Carter is just 25 years old and spent the first two seasons of his career with the Bears. He started two games last year and appeared in 10 games overall. There are plenty of teams in the National Football League who are on the lookout for offensive line depth and it wouldn't be shocking at all to see Carter land somewhere soon.

He has shown some flashes since joining the Bears, although he hasn't had a large opportunity yet. Right now, teams mainly are focused on cutting down roster size but this will lead to some intriguing players being available, like Carter.

Teams certainly will be cutting, but there will be plenty of additions, as well. Hopefully, Carter is a player who will be able to find a new opportunity in the near future with the 2024 National Football League campaign kicking off in just about two weeks now.
