While the Denver Broncos are entering the 2024-25 season with not a lot of expectations, with the focus of rebuilding around rookie QB Bo Nix, it does not mean the team does not have their fair share of superstars.

In a recent poll conducted by ESPN, experts ranked the best players entering this upcoming season , and Broncos' corner Pat Surtain II placed amongst the best the NFL has to offer.

Coming in the number 20 spot, Surtain has proven time and time again why he belongs with the best of the best. Selected ninth overall in the 2021 NFL Draft, Surtain has played in 50 games where he has totaled seven interceptions and 150 total solo tackles.

Moreover, "Surtain has racked up 31 passes defended since entering the league in 2021, fifth most of any player over that span,” said ESPN.

With stats such as those, it is no wonder why Surtain is the second ranked corner on the list (only behind Sauce Gardner of the Jets). And ESPN isn't the only one taking notice, as players and coaches alike have high praise for the Denver star.

"[Surtain] is the guy, I mean he's the guy," said wide receiver teammate Josh Reynolds.

"It's our job to make sure people can't simply stay away from him, that we funnel the action to him at times if we can," defensive coordinator Vance Joseph highlighted when talking about Surtain's elite talent.

While the Broncos only have one player making the list, Denver ranks within the top ten youngest teams in the league . It will only be a matter of time until other fellow Broncos join Pat Surtain II.
