As Angel Reese grows as a player on the court, her influence off the court continues to rise.

Reese's star shined bright throughout her All-American career at LSU and her presence has grown since joining the WNBA. With a groundbreaking sneaker deal , a historic 2K rating and candy endorsement already to her name, the 22-year-old is set to add podcast host to her resume.

Angel Reese podcast, explained

The podcast, which is called "Unapologetically Angel Show," was announced on X (formerly Twitter) Tuesday. The 33-second promo clip features highlights and photos illustrating Reese's multifaceted stardom and audio clips from Stephen A. Smith and Chiney Ogwumike, among other media figures.

Reese's show debuts on Thursday, Sept. 5, and new episodes will release every Thursday.

The "Unapologetically Angel Show" will be produced by Playmaker HQ , which also produces "The Big Podcast" hosted by Shaquille O'Neal and "The Roommates Podcast" hosted by Knicks teammates Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart.

Reese's podcast will be available on YouTube as well as other podcast platforms.

"I'm super excited to be announcing my podcast, 'Unapologetically Angel," Reese said in a video posted to social media. "I'm looking forward to this so much. Y'all are gonna see your favorite celebrities — actresses, artists, anybody that y'all wanna see."

Reese pledged to tell unique stories and share news from the source's perspective rather than allowing the words or narratives to be twisted. She'll be joined by co-host Maya Reese, who is of no relation despite sharing a surname.
