The Green Bay Packers aren't done making moves quite yet.

Green Bay needs to trim down the roster to 53 players, but that hasn't stopped the franchise from adding. The Packers have been looking to upgrade the backup quarterback position. With teams having to make moves right now to trim down rosters, it led to Malik Willis being available.

The Packers completed a trade with the Tennessee Titans on Monday to land the former third-round draft pick. Green Bay acquiring Willis gave the Packers a surplus of quarterbacks and the team addressed it by releasing rookie quarterback Michael Pratt on Tuesday, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

"The Packers also waived rookie QB Michael Pratt, per source," Pelissero said. "So two QBs now on the roster: Jordan Love and Malik Willis."

Pratt was selected by the Packers in the seventh round of the 2024 National Football League Draft after playing his college football at Tulane. He threw for over 2,400 yards last season to go along with 22 touchdowns in 11 games played.

It's unclear if another team will pick Pratt up quickly. If another team doesn't come in and swoop him up, he could be a practice squad candidate for the Packers.

Green Bay isn't done making moves yet and there likely will be plenty more before Tuesday's deadline passes.
