Pittsburgh Steelers practice squad tracker: Latest reported signings

The Pittsburgh Steelers have finalized their initial 53-man roster, but now they're going to turn their attention to the waiver wire and free agency, where they'll look to shore up any remaining holes with the players who were cut around the NFL.

All players with four or more accrued seasons can be signed to the 53-man roster or practice squad immediately, and players with less than four accrued seasons are subject to waivers.

The Steelers and the rest of the teams in the league have until noon ET Wednesday to submit waiver claims . Pittsburgh figures to be active both on the waiver wire and in free agency, as the team needs to address a few positions, with wide receiver and cornerback among them.

With the initial 53-man roster set, the Steelers are going to start putting together their practice squad. They can begin doing that immediately with free agents but will have to wait for waivers to clear on Wednesday to add any of those players to the practice squad.
