The young Diego Pacheco is ready to continue his progress, competing in his second straight headliner fight in Carson, California on August 31. He will face Maciej Sulecki , with the fight airing on DAZN worldwide.

Pacheco (21-0) won multiple medals in youth tournaments. The 23-year-old looks to go 2-0 in 2024 following a hard-fought triumph over the previously unbeaten Shawn McCalman in April.

Sulecki (32-2) is on a four-fight win streak after failing to capture the WBO middleweight title against Demetrius Andrade in 2019. While he also lost against Daniel Jacobs, the Polish fighter has scored wins over Gabe Rosado and Jack Culcay.

A top-ranked fighter in the WBO's super middleweight rankings, Pacheco believes he will be a tough challenge for the seasoned Sulecki.

“I’m a special fighter. All respect to Jacobs and Andrade, but I think that stylistically, I’m more of a power-puncher, I’m a better counterpuncher, I just have it all,” Pacheco said. “I can work inside and go to the body, I can outbox my opponents to frustrate them and get them to open up, it’s just a matter of how the fight goes, I’m ready for whatever he brings, and I believe I’ll get the knockout.”

A knockout artist will compete on the undercard, as well as a rising European star.
