On the same day the Pittsburgh Steelers announced their starting quarterback in Russell Wilson, the team saw one of its starting offensive linemen, guard Isaac Seumalo, exit practice early with an injury.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter , Seumalo suffered a pectoral injury during practice on Wednesday. The good news is, per Schefter , Seumalo did not suffer a season-ending injury. It remains unclear how long he will be out, though.

Of course, the biggest concern was a torn pec, which would have sidelined him for the entire 2024 season, but it appears he has avoided that. Now, the question becomes: how long will he be out?

If Seumalo has to miss time, either Spencer Anderson or Mason McCormick would likely take his spot. Anderson is currently listed as the backup behind Seumalo.

After spending seven seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, Seumalo was signed by the Steelers in 2023. He appeared in all 17 games last season.
