On Saturday, college football returned with its standard flair, as Georgia Tech upended No. 10 Florida State to kick off the 2024 season on an exciting note.

Now, a full Week 1 slate looms, beginning on Thursday. Twenty-one games are on the docket, starting a four-day extravaganza of college football.

Four ranked teams — No. 11 Missouri, No. 12 Utah, No. 22 Kansas, and No. 24 NC State — highlight Thursday's schedule. Expectations are high for all four teams, especially the Tigers, on the heels of an 11-win campaign and Cotton Bowl victory in 2023.

For superstars and fanfare, look no further than Boulder, Colo., where Deion Sanders begins his second season at the helm of the Buffaloes. Quarterback Shedeur Sanders and two-way All-American Travis Hunter embark on their respective Heisman Trophy candidacies against FCS foe North Dakota State.

Thursday also features a Power Four matchup, with Minnesota hosting North Carolina in a Big Ten-ACC clash.

The Sporting News has you covered for the entire Thursday slate, with a complete schedule featuring TV and live stream information for all of the games.
