Chelsea are expected to be one of the busiest Premier League sides on the final day of the summer transfer window.

The Blues are battling to complete a host of deals before the deadline on August 30 (11:00pm BST) with at least three players set to move on in a dramatic few days at Stamford Bridge.

The club are working to ensure they remain within Premier League financial rules with sales and salaries removed from their roster as part of cost-cutting measures.

Spanish international Kepa Arrizabalaga has moved to Bournemouth on a season-long loan following his return from a loan spell at Real Madrid last season.

The Basque stopper remains the most expensive goal keeper in history, following his £72m ($95m) move from Athletic Club in 2018, but he was not included in Enzo Mareca's plans for the 2024/25 campaign.

England star Conor Gallagher has already moved on to Atletico Madrid, after being eased out by Maresca, and the Italian wants to remove Raheem Sterling and Romelu Lukaku before the end of the month.

Sterling has been linked with player swap, as Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho heads in the opposite direction , with Chelsea reportedly closing in on a deal to offload Lukaku to Napoli.

Those exits will provide a financial boost to Chelsea with the likelihood of more players sold before the incoming deadline.
