Chet Holmgren faces ex-Thunder legend and others in NBA open runs

When the NBA season is not going on, it is fairly common for players to train with one another and to play against each other in order to get better. As the saying goes, iron sharpens iron.

In a recent video posted by ' Swish Cultures ', Oklahoma City Thunder center Chet Holmgren can be seen playing against former Thunder all-star forward Kevin Durant and other NBA stars.

In a variety of clips, the two players can be seen matched up against each other, working on mid-range jump shots and fade aways, as well as interior work in the paint.

While the two players play two different positions in the league, it is evident that basketball is evolving due to how the two play. Durant, being a tall forward, has always been able to shoot over any defender with his wingspan and release point. The way Durant plays is much like a 'typical' guard or small forward.

However, Chet is able to do the same things, while also playing as the big man and blocking shots down low. It is very interesting to see how the NBA has transitioned into an offensive heavy league where, if you are unable to shoot the ball, it will be hard to find a job.

And this isn't the first time the two players have worked out together. Earlier in the summer, the two stars were seen practicing with ' Dash Athletics '.

If Chet is able to build and mold his game off of the two-time Finals MVP, the league will be in some trouble.
