Oklahoma State and South Dakota State enter 2024 with high expectations. Their first test comes against one another on Saturday night.

Oklahoma State is entering its 20th season under head coach Mike Gundy after a 10-4 season in 2023, capping it off with a 31-23 victory over Texas A&M in the Texas Bowl. The Cowboys return all but one starter and are expected to contend for the Big 12 title, loaded with talent on both sides of the ball.

Under coach Jimmy Rogers, the Jackrabbits will hope to get to their third straight Football Championship Subdivision title. The team went 15-0 last season and has won 29 straight games dating back to 2022, but will look different in 2024, returning just three starters on offense and five on defense from last season. Quarterback Mark Gronowski won the Walter Payton Award as the top FCS player in 2023 and will lead the young team.
