Browns OT Dawand Jones showed up wearing iconic jersey at Ohio State game

Cleveland Browns offensive tackle Dawand Jones is 23 years old.  After playing four seasons at Ohio State, he was selected in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL Draft.

The Indianapolis native showed up at the Akron vs. Ohio State game on Saturday to support his college team.  As expected, he wore Ohio State attire, specifically a football jersey.

However, it was not his jersey.  He wore the jersey of one of the all-time Ohio State greats who played for the Buckeyes long before Jones was born.

Jones wore Heisman Trophy winner and College Football Hall of Fame running back Eddie George's jersey.  Dawand Jones is 6'8" and 375 pounds so presumably he had the George jersey custom-made.

It was a great tip of the hat to one of Ohio State's finest, and fans loved it.  Jones will soon be putting on his Browns practice jersey in intense preparations for the Browns' Week 1 home game against the Dallas Cowboys.
