Jason Kelce endorses Nick Foles’ DAD SZN brand in LOL tweet

Nick Foles, the hero of Super Bowl LII for the Philadelphia Eagles, announced his retirement in August. The former third-round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft has turned his focus to a new venture: Foles’ own DAD SZN apparel brand.

According to the company’s website, the DAD SZN brand aims to "represent a community of dads who both cherish and stay real about the daily grind of raising children." Foles and his wife have three children, and company co-founder Pat O'Donnell, a former NFL punter who hooked up with Foles as teammates with the Chicago Bears , has two of his own.

Foles, always bursting with personality, has had some fun on social media promoting DAD SZN — especially the hats. His “Philly Philly Dad” hats have a clean look and give a nod to one of the most famous plays in Eagles history:

A great example of Foles’ sense of humor was this recent tweet involving retired Eagles center Jason Kelce wearing a white “Philly Philly Dad” hat. With over 774,000 views on X.com (formerly Twitter), the guys definitely got the boost they were looking for.

The tweet caught the attention of Eagles’ safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson, who had a priceless reaction:

Foles originally spent three seasons with the Eagles before he was traded to the Rams in 2015. During his second season and his ninth-career start, Foles tied the single-game NFL record for touchdown passes (seven) in 2013.

He's best known, of course, for his second stint in Philadelphia, leading the Eagles through the 2017 playoffs and Super Bowl after replacing starter Carson Wentz, who suffered a torn ACL in Week 14. He had the fifth-most passing yards (373) in Super Bowl history as the Eagles upset the New England Patriots , 41-33, in Super Bowl LII for the franchise’s first title.

It might be DAD SZN now, but Foles has one more NFL appearance on his schedule. The team announced that Foles will retire as an Eagle and be present for the team's 2024 home opener on Sept. 16.
