Lost Odyssey? After 8 million view debut - WWE star missing from roster ahead of Monday Night Raw

The internet is buzzing with concern over a WWE wrestler who no longer appears as part of the roster on the company's website. Odyssey Jones, who was on the shelf for over a year either inactive or not appearing on TV, had a ridiculously strong "debut" on Monday Night Raw a couple of weeks ago. In fact the 8 million views was a figure touted by the WWE as it surpassed the view total from the much anticipated debuts of several of AEW's biggest names like Will Ospreay and Mercedes Mone (Sasha Banks).

But now, ahead of the September 2 episode , Jones is nowhere to be seen on the roster page. As some have noted , normally when there's a clerical error on the site's backend, there's a 404 page, but for Jones there's simply nothing. This comes on the heels of his inconspicuous absence from last week's show.

On August 19, he was involved in a six-man tag match with the New Day, who he had become a part of their evolving storyline hinting at a breakup of the 11-time tag-team champions. Kofi Kingston added Jones to their beef with the Final Testament, whose leader Karrion Kross had been trying to recruit Xavier Woods over to.

But last week the New Day appeared and there was no sign of Jones, and now this from Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp, via Twitter .

Odyssey Jones is no longer listed on the WWE roster page. I got a message yesterday saying I should ask if there was a change in his status, but haven't heard back from WWE yet. Talent I've talked to have been surprised by him being off the roster page

It will be interesting to see whether or not this is just an error, but it certainly has the wrestling world buzzing.
