Roman Reigns reacts to John Cena labeling him the true GOAT of WWE

John Cena has adopted the moniker “The Greatest of All-Time” over recent years, but he doesn’t actually believe it himself. It’s a layered conversation, to say the very least, but when asked about it, it was Roman Reigns he labeled as the greatest to ever do it.

The OTC was presented with this information to gauge his reaction, and the reply was as Roman Reigns as you’d expect it to have been.

“He’s been a top guy and a face of the company, so nobody knows better what it takes to get to that point to even be in the conversation,” said Reigns to Power Players ahead of WWE on USA week. “So I guess I’m just gonna agree with him.”

No one can be entirely upset at Reigns for accepting the complement, not without ignoring some or all portions of what he’s been able to achieve in and for the WWE. He almost single handedly elevated the promotion through the tumult of the dismissal of Vince McMahon while being one of the longest-reigning Universal Champions in the history of the company.

His recent pop at SummerSlam likely registered on the Richter Scale.

Hell, if not for Reigns’ reign, would Cody Rhodes’ story be a little less explosive in its finish? And would the long-running Bloodline saga still be a thing??

Bottom line is while we can disagree with Cena’s comment based upon our personal preferences, Reigns is in the conversation.
