Detroit Lions' uniform combo for Week 1 game vs. Los Angeles Rams

The Detroit Lions decided to make some changes to their uniforms ahead of the 2024 campaign, but which new version will they wear in the Week 1 game against the Los Angeles Rams ?

The Lions revealed on Saturday night that they're going to rock the all-Honolulu Blue version that sports white numbers and the silver helmet with blue stripes and team logo.

We saw the Lions wear their Honolulu Blue jersey during the preseason Week 3 game versus the Pittsburgh Steelers , but they didn't wear the blue pants for that contest, so this is the first time we're seeing this particular combination in a game.

The Week 1 contest has no shortage of juice, as not only is this a rematch of the wild card game from last season that saw the Lions beat the Rams, 24-23, this will also be Matthew Stafford's second return trip to Ford Field.

Stafford was booed the last time he returned to Detroit, and he's ready to feed off of the crowd that will likely go the same route on Sunday.

“Yeah, I feel the crowd, one hundred percent,” Stafford said. “[It’s a] motivating factor. [I] love it. I’m one of the guys that walks into the opposing stadium, everybody has their headphones on. I don’t. I want to hear all of it. I want to smell it. I want to feel like it’s football and that’s part of football, especially going to an away game. That stuff just motivates me.”

The Rams and Lions will meet on Sunday night at Ford Field, with kickoff set for 8:20 p.m. ET.
