Jim Harbaugh tweeted for the first time in nearly four years ahead of the Los Angeles Chargers ' Week 1 game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Fans of the Michigan Wolverines would love it if he was still their coach.

Harbaugh returned to the NFL this offseason after coaching the Wolverines for the past nine seasons and leading the team to a national title. During his tenure, Michigan returned to one of the elite programs in the nation but with him gone, that status seems to be slowly slipping away.

Now, the coach of the Chargers, Harbaugh tweeted this on Sunday morning.

You don't have to go too far down in the replies to find Michigan fans talking about how much they miss him.

    There are hundreds more.

Jim Harbaugh looks to turn around Chargers the same way he did Wolverines

Two games into the college football season, Michigan is not the same team that won the national title. After a lackluster win over Fresno State, they were beaten 31-12 at home by Texas on Saturday.

New head coach Sherrone Moore has his hands full in trying to keep the program on track and from falling completely out of the race. It is clear to fans in Ann Arbor that if Harbaugh were still there, that wouldn't be the case.

Now Harbaugh brings his talents back to the professional level where he looks to turn the Chargers into a contender in the AFC.
