Dak Prescott has finally emerged as the first $60 million a year quarterback, based on the four-year $260 million contract extension he agreed to with the Dallas Cowboys, Sunday morning, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Prescott's extension is the largest contract in NFL history. The contract also includes an $80 million signing bonus, which is also a record. It was reported by ESPN that of the $260 million, $239 million was guaranteed.

The Cowboys signal-caller was about to play on the final year of a contract he signed three-years ago. He has been patient all summer regarding the extension. He never threatened to hold out of training camp.

This agreement comes on the heels of the rich extension that CeeDee Lamb just agreed to last week.

Cowboys' owner Jerry Jones said at the end of last season, after a loss to Green Bay in the first round of the NFL playoffs, he was going "all in." He is backing up the statement by giving the Cowboys two biggest offensive weapons big extensions.
