Kyle Pitts hauls in the first touchdown for the 2024 Atlanta Falcons

Everybody rejoice! Somebody finally reached the end zone in this Atlanta Falcons - Pittsburgh Steelers dogfight. Kirk Cousins and the Falcons offense knock off the rust in their last drive of the first half, going 90 yards in 9 plays, ending in a 12-yard strike from Cousins to tight end Kyle Pitts who was patiently waiting by himself in the end zone.

While Pitts was the headliner, the two main contributors on that drive were wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud III and running back Bijan Robinson . Robinson gained 17 yards, including a 14-yard screen to get the Falcons into range to score. McCloud had 36 yards on two catches, including a miraculous 20-yard grab while Cousins was getting hit.

Atlanta now leads 10-6 with the Steelers threatening before half.
