Browns HOF'er Joe Thomas settles online rumor about Joel Bitonio and Deshaun Watson

An eagle-eyed Cleveland Browns fan caught a brief interaction between Joel Bitonio and Deshaun Watson during the Dallas Cowboys fan that started an online frenzy.

Bitonio was on the ground, and Watson offered him a hand to get up.  Bitonio swatted away Watson's hand, rolled over, and got up on his own. Fans wondered if this was indicative of how Bitonio felt about Watson.

Browns Hall of Famer Joe Thomas caught wind of this.  He intervened to settle this issue speaking as a former burly offensive lineman and calling them "turtles."

Thomas said : "Whether Joel loves Deshaun or hates Deshaun I have no idea, but this video doesn't tell you anything... big old offensive lineman are like turtles; we can't get up unless we roll over and do the "push-up to kneel to stand" routine. Achy backs, big bellies, lots of bracing on our knees and ankles: it's nearly impossible to help us up like that, we just can't bend like the skinny skill guys. I did that several times in my career and then people realized to not try and help me up! Carry on, nothing to see here..."

Thank goodness Thomas got involved before Browns Twitter goes crazy reliving this part of the game.  It was a rough week for the Browns, but it is a long season ahead with plenty of time to improve.
