The last time Aaron Rodgers stepped onto a football field, he suffered a torn Achilles in Week 1 on a rain-soaked MetLife Stadium last September.
Now, 364 days later, Rodgers is set to make his highly anticipated return in the New York Jets' season opener against the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football at Levi’s Stadium.
While the Jets managed to beat the Buffalo Bills after Rodgers went down on their opening drive, their season quickly unraveled, ending with a 7-10 record as they relied on Zach Wilson (now in Denver) at quarterback, falling far short of expectations.
