Micah Parsons furiously started his 2024 NFL season against the Cleveland Browns .

The superstar edge-rusher led an overwhelming Dallas Cowboys defensive performance in their 33-17 win at Cleveland.

With Cleveland's starting tackles Jack Conklin and Jedrick Wills Jr inactive, Parsons feasted on a beleaguered Browns offensive line.

Per Pro Football Focus, the 25-year-old recorded 11 pressures, six hurries, four quarterback hits, one pass deflection, and one sack. Parsons also recorded a 20.8% pass-rush win percentage.

Parsons was also the first recipient of Tom Brady's LFG Player of the Game Award.

On a day when Dak Prescott dominated the pre-game headlines, Parsons took his opportunity to remind the Dallas Cowboys' hierarchy of his game-wrecking ability.

While Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones has remained coy on contract talks with Parsons, he and his father, Jerry Jones, will undoubtedly have noticed Parsons' ability and importance on the field.

After inking big contract extensions with CeeDee Lamb and Prescott, Parsons is next in line for a massive payday.

While he will face sterner challenges against first-string linemen, Parsons has started this crucial season ideally.
