The Chicago Bears got some rough news after their Week 1 win over the Tennessee Titans.

Chicago began the Caleb Williams era with a sloppy win over the Titans. The Bears didn't have a great game, but they still were able to come away with the win. While this is great, they got some rough news afterward as receiver Rome Odunze had to go in for an MRI on his knee.

Odunze ultimately will be alright as the MRI revealed just a sprained MCL and is week-to-week. Luckily, he could be back as soon as Week 2.

The Bears are looking for ways to add some more depth to the organization and reportedly worked out former New England Patriots undrafted rookie receiver David Wallis, according to KPRC 2 Houston's Aaron Wilson.

"Bears working out former Patriots wide receiver David Wallis per a league source," Wilson said.

Wallis signed with the Patriots after going undrafted in the 2024 National Football League Draft. He spent the summer with New England but was cut ahead of the regular season. There was some speculation that he could end up making the Patriots' active roster as a kickoff return specialist .

He is young and spent his college days playing for Randolph-Macon College in Division III. Hopefully, he is able to impress in his workout with the Bears.
