The Indianapolis Colts (0-1) are still waiting to see which quarterback leads the Green Bay Packers (0-1) offense in Week 2.

Though Jordan Love seemingly avoided a long-term injury, it seems unlikely he will be able to play against the Colts in Week 2 for Green Bay's home opener.

Love hasn't officially been ruled out yet, and he may not be until the end of the week, but the Colts know who they will play if he doesn't suit up.

Packers head coach Matt LeFluer told reporters this wee k that Malik Willis will start if Love is unable to play due to his knee injury.

There were some rumors that the Packers may have been targeting veteran Ryan Tannehill to keep the offense afloat in Love's absence.

If Willis does become the starter, the chances of the Colts earning their first victory increase dramatically.

Of course, nothing in the NFL is guaranteed. But given what Willis has shown at the NFL level since being selected in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans , the Colts should have the advantage.

Willis has only made three starts in his NFL career, and he hasn't inspired much confidence. He's completed 35-of-67 passes (52.2%) for 350 yards, no touchdowns, three interceptions and a 48.7 passer rating.

The Packers have a solid defense with some playmakers in the secondary, but they also just allowed 144 total yards and three total touchdowns to Saquon Barkley during their Week 1 loss.

The Colts could very well feature another run-heavy game plan with Anthony Richardson and Jonathan Taylor.

Stopping Josh Jacobs and Jayden Reed from providing explosive runs will be a major objective, especially after the porous outing from the Colts' run defense in Week 1.

Regardless, the Packers being without their star quarterback should lead to a massive advantage for the Colts.
