The international music sensation went home with an armful of hardware Wednesday at MTV's Video Music Awards. Swift won seven awards on the night, giving her the most career VMA wins for a solo artist.

One of those awards came in the top category, video of the year, for "Fortnight," featuring Post Malone. During her acceptance speech, the 34-year-old made sure to give a shout out to her boyfriend Travis Kelce, who is a star in his own right.

While his girlfriend is off winning awards, Kelce is one game, and one win, into the 2024 season with the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs. The 34-year-old tight end started off with a quiet performance against the Ravens in Kansas City's season opener, but figures to once again be a top target for Patrick Mahomes.

Swift had kind words to say about Kelce after taking home one of her seven awards Wednesday night. The 30-time VMA recipient kept it short and sweet but delivered a heartwarming message to Kelce.

"I would always just hear someone cheering from across the studio where we were shooting [the ‘Fortnight’ music video]," said Swift, who also directed the music video. "That one person was my boyfriend, Travis. Everything this man touches turns to happiness and fun and magic, so I want to thank him."

Swift also won awards in these categories: artist of the year, pop video of the year, best collaboration, video editing, video direction and song of the summer.

Kelce was not in attendance at the 2024 VMAs.

The music award show was held Wednesday night at UBS Arena in Elmont, N.Y. Considering the NFL season is in full swing, Kelce is preparing for the Chiefs' next game in Kansas City, where he and the Chiefs are getting set to host Joe Burrow and the Bengals on Sunday afternoon.
