Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum went on The Tonight Show and predicted the team he and the C’s will face in the NBA Finals in this upcoming season. He thinks round two is in order, and they will be facing Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving, and the Dallas Mavericks once again.

The Tonight show host Jimmy Fallon asked Tatum which two NBA teams will be in the Finals next year, and Tatum responded, “The Boston Celtics…it’s gonna be a rematch, we gonna play Dallas again.”

This last year, Dallas was defeated in a Gentleman’s Sweep, 4-1 by Boston. Their defense was no match for the offensive efficiency and power of the Celtics. Now, they have added another star, albeit an old one, in Klay Thompson.

Klay’s not who he was during the Golden State Warriors’ dynasty, but he is still an elite 3&D player. He brings more shooting to the Mavs, and picks up on defense where Luka falls short.

However, it probably won’t be enough to beat the Celtics. Somehow, they found a way to keep and even upgrade their roster, making sure their stars are there long-term, and got another bench piece in the draft, in Baylor Scheierman. The Celtics are the perfect mix of offensive powerhouse and a defensive wall, and no team in the league measures up.
