It's been a forgettable start to the season for the Florida State Seminoles.

After beginning the 2024 college football season ranked 10th in the AP Top 25, the Seminoles have stumbled out to an 0-2 start to the season with losses to conference foes Georgia Tech and Boston College. At the center of FSU's woes stands senior QB DJ Uiagalelei, who joined the program after a resurgent 2023 season at Oregon State.

Through two games, Uiagalelei is 40-of-69 for 465 yards, throwing one touchdown and one interception. Uiagalelei's lackluster play has not inspired confidence in a season turnaround and has caused many to wonder who is next in line should he get benched.

Here is everything to know about FSU's depth at the QB position.

Florida State QB depth chart: Who is DJ Uiagalelei's backup?

    Starter: DJ Uiagalelei, redshirt senior

After beginning his collegiate career at Clemson in 2020, Uiagalei took over as the Tigers starting QB in 2021.

Uiagalelei fell out of favor at his previous ACC stop, ultimately transferring to Oregon State for the 2023 season. With the Beavers, Uiagalelei showed why he was a five-star high school recruit , throwing for 2,638 yards, 21 touchdowns and just seven interceptions.

Oregon State's confounding conference situation with the dissolution of the Pac-12 resulted in Uiagalelei seeking new scenery. He ultimately returned to the ACC by choosing Florida State to attempt to fill the void left by Jordan Travis.

    Backup: Brock Glenn, redshirt freshman

Glenn is a 6-2, 215 QB who was a four-star recruit in the high school class of 2023 .

As a freshman in 2023, Glenn appeared in five games though he was primarily Travis' backup. In his five appearances, Glenn was 19-of-51 for 229 yards. He did not throw a touchdown but threw two interceptions.

Glenn was thrown into the fire at the end of his freshman season. After Travis went down with a brutal injury, Glenn's two starts came in the ACC Championship and the Orange Bowl. He went 8-of-21 for 55 yards in FSU's ACC Championship win over Louisville and 9-of-26 for 136 yards in the Orange Bowl loss to Georgia.

    Third: Luke Kromenhoek, freshman

Kromenhoek was a consensus four-star recruit in the 2024 high school class. A native of Savannah, Ga., Kromenhoek measures 6-4 and 208 pounds.

He is viewed as a high-ceiling prospect with a strong arm but will need more reps for serious consideration to jump into the starting spot.

    Other QBs on FSU's roster

While Uiagalelei, Glenn and Kromenhoek are listed on Florida State's depth chart for Week 3, the Seminoles have three other QBs on their roster.

    Trever Jackson, freshman

    Michael Grant, redshirt freshman

    Dylan McNamara, redshirt sophomore
