Haason Reddick is a problem for the New York Jets, but their problem could become a major solution for the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Jets still don't have Reddick on their active roster. The Pro Bowl pass rusher has not once shown up for work since being traded to New York from Philadelphia in March.

With that in mind, it's not surprising that there are trade rumors swirling around this dynamic edge rusher. One such trade rumor , courtesy of ESPN's Seth Walder, is a three-team blockbuster trade that would send Reddick to the Chiefs.

Here's how Walder sees this potential trade going down: The Jets would end up with wide receiver Davante Adams.

To make that work, the Las Vegas Raiders would land Chiefs defensive end George Karlaftis, wide receiver Allen Lazard, Kansas City's 2025 fifth-round pick, and New York's 2025 second-round pick.

And, of course, the Chiefs would welcome in Reddick to bolster their already strong defensive front .

The caveat to all of this is that Reddick will still need a new contract. That's the issue that's holding this entire thing up in the first place for the Jets. He currently has one year left on his current contract and has obviously made it clear he's not playing in 2024 without a new deal.

So, if all this is going to work, the Chiefs are going to need to pony up a hefty contract offer to make Reddick a happy guy. The past four seasons, he's put up 50.5 sacks, so it may be worth the price.
