Murtazaliev (22-0) took a year off from fighting between 2022 and 2024, returning in April. The Russian knocked out Jack Culcay to win the IBF belt, his 16th win via the power punch.

The son of former world champion Kostya Tszyu, Tim (24-1) won the interim WBO super welterweight title in 2023 and was elevated to full-time champion status later that year. The Aussie lost the belt in a bloody affair in March against Sebastian Fundora.

Injuries sustained in that fight delayed opportunities for Tszyu to return in the ring. He is finally ready to compete and reach the top of the super welterweight division again.

“At this level, you have to take everyone out, and Bakhram is the next guy standing in my way,” said Tszyu. “The world knows me, and they know what I’m about. I’m thankful to my team for putting me in this position to prove why I’m still the man at 154 pounds. Bakhram has what I want, and I plan on taking it from him in spectacular fashion.
