The Detroit Lions saw their best wide receiver, Amon-Ra St. Brown, go down with an injury in the second half of the Week 2 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

St. Brown came down with the unspecified injury after reeling in a 17-yard catch with a little over four minutes remaining in the third quarter.

The training staff attended to him immediately. The severity of the injury is unknown at this time but it appeared to be a leg issue. The good news is, St. Brown was able to leave the field under his own power.

Prior to the injury, St. Brown had posted team-highs in receptions (nine), and receiving yards (101) in what is a bounce-back performance after a quiet Week 1 versus the Los Angeles Rams.

UPDATE: St. Brown appears to have aggravated the injury in the fourth quarter. He was spotted limping on the field before leaving to the sideline, where he dropped down and was attended to by trainers. Not good (end of update) .

UPDATE: More good news to report, as St. Brown has returned to the game. Disaster averted (end of update) .

Thankfully, it looks like St. Brown is going to be fine. According to multiple reports, St. Brown was on the sideline with his helmet on, which is typically a sign he'll get back into the game.

We'll update this page as soon as more information becomes available.
