Every Brock Bowers catch from breakout game in Raiders Week 2 win

When Las Vegas Raiders general manager Tom Telesco drafted tight end Brock Bowers in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, he received no shortage of criticism for the move.

The criticism had nothing to do with Bowers himself, though. It had to do with the fact that the Raiders had just drafted a tight end in the second round the year before and had bigger needs along the offensive line and at cornerback.

But Bowers is wasting no time showing why Telesco couldn't pass up on the Georgia product when the Raiders were on the clock. Bowers went off in his second game, recording nine catches for 98 yards in an upset win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.

Here is every catch of Bowers' impressive Week 1 showing.

Bowers not only posted impressive production, he also had some clutch grabs in the Raiders' final two drives of the game as they looked to overcome a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter.

That shows an impressive level of trust for the rookie, who also has the second-most targets of any pass-catcher behind wide receiver Davante Adams over two games.

In the process of the best game of his very young career, Bowers broke multiple franchise records. His 156 receiving yards over two games are the most for a rookie tight end in Raiders franchise history. Also, Bowers' 15 receptions over the first two contests are the most for any rookie pass-catcher in Raiders history.

Bowers will look to keep the good times rolling in a Week 3 matchup against the Carolina Panthers .
