Could the Los Angeles Dodgers end up landing another superstar this winter?

    They shouldn't be ruled out.

Los Angeles has shown that it isn't afraid to be aggressive and spend big money. The Dodgers handed out over a billion dollars in contracts last season, and yet they still somehow could have more money to spend this winter.

The Dodgers are already among the top contenders in baseball, and yet they have been mentioned for seemingly every big-name player that could be available. With the regular season coming to an end, free agency chatter is starting to pick up. The top free agent clearly will be New York Yankees star Juan Soto.

His upcoming trip to free agency has been talked about since last offseason. It's unclear what will happen, but the New York Post's Jon Heyman didn't rule out the Dodgers as a possible fit.

"The Dodgers, I'm never ruling them out," Heyman said. "I've basically attached them to eight of the 10 players on this list at this point. I'm going to be surprised if Juan Soto isn't in New York next year, but I'm not going to be shocked."

Los Angeles shocked the baseball world last year by landing Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto. The Dodgers could surprise the baseball world even more if they shell out the projected $500 million it will cost to bring Soto to town.

He is a generational talent that will make any team better. But imagine Soto paired with Ohtani and Mookie Betts? The Dodgers may win a handful of titles in a row if that becomes a reality.
