Broncos vs. Jets Series History: Teams are close to even in 41 all-time meetings

A rivalry that dates all the way back to the days of the AFL in the 1960s, the Denver Broncos and New York Jets are still not common opponents. They have met just 41 times in their histories and the Broncos hold a slight edge in the all-time series, 22-18-1.

The Broncos and Jets have played each other in the postseason just one time and that was the 1998 AFC Championship Game, won by the Broncos. That was their highest-profile game, but the teams have been in some close and heated affairs, most recently where the Broncos were looking for revenge against former head coach Nathaniel Hackett, now offensive coordinator of the Jets, and lost that game 31-21 last year.

Despite that Jets win, those comments are still fresh in their minds and there is the fact that Aaron Rodgers did not play in that game.

The Jets have won the last two games against the Broncos with the last Broncos win in the series coming in September 2021, a 26-0 shutout at Empower Field.

The last time the Broncos beat the Jets on the road came the year before that, a 37-28 win on Thursday Night Football in a game in which Brett Rypien started at quarterback for the Broncos.

Kickoff is scheduled for 11:00 am MT and the game will be televised on CBS. Ian Eagle and Charles Davis will call the action.
