Miami Dolphins WR Odell Beckham Jr. will reportedly return to practice in Week 5

The Odell Beckham Jr. era with the Miami Dolphins will take a step forward this upcoming week as Ian Rapoport reports that OBJ is expected to return to practice.

OBJ has been on the PUP list since the beginning of the season.  The injury that put him there has never been fully disclosed and remains mysterious .

Beckham Jr. is slotted to be WR3 behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.  The Dolphins' quarterback woes have made delivering consistent offensive performances difficult.  In Week 4, Tyler Huntley will start against the Tennessee Titans following starts and subsequent injuries by Tua Tagavailoa (concussion) and Skylar Thompson (ribs).

As a result of returning to practice, OBJ will be added to the active roster, per NFL rules.  This opens the three-week window for him to practice with the team with the next step being activation from the PUP list. The Dolphins play MNF in Week 4 against the Titans and travel to New England to take on the Patriots in Week 5.  The team has a Week 6 bye which could prove timely for OBJ to finish his preparations and join the team midseason.
