Sunday was a bittersweet afternoon for Colts fans. Indianapolis picked up the win, but it may have come to a cost.

Ankle injuries have hurt Jonathan Taylor early in his NFL career, and he picked up another one on Sunday.

The Colts improved to 2-2 on the season with a 27-24 win over the Steelers, handing Pittsburgh its first loss in 2024. Despite starting QB Anthony Richardson leaving the game in the first quarter, veteran QB Joe Flacco took over and helped lead Indianapolis to a win.

Taylor was a big part of the win, finding the end zone on the opening possession to give the Colts an early lead. When he left the game, he had accumulated 88 rushing yards on 21 carries and added three receptions for 20 yards.

However, by the end of the contest, it was Trey Sermon getting the reps at running back, leaving Indianapolis with questions to both the starting QB and RB.
