The 2024 Major League Baseball season will be remembered as a lost year for the Atlanta Braves.

Atlanta entered the season widely considered to be among the top contenders to win the World Series in 2024. Things didn't work out in the Braves' favor, though. Bad health ruined the Braves' season, and now they are on the outside looking in.

The Braves lost important pieces, but they did do a good job of adding throughout the season to keep the club afloat with depth. One player who was a fantastic pickup was veteran outfielder Ramón Laureano.

He appeared in 67 games with the Braves in the regular season and slashed .296/.327/.505 with 10 home runs and 29 RBIs. Laureano provided the Braves with some much-needed help in the outfield but will be a free agent this winter.

FanSided's Wynston Wilcox suggested that the Braves should bring him back, and he certainly is right.

"I know this isn’t a sexy signing, but bringing Laureano back for depth could be key for the Braves. Laureano was a reliable bat for the Braves, batting .296 this season," Wilcox said. "Sure, Ronald Acuna, Jr. should be back healthy and ready for Opening Day, but he’s also been injury-prone and suffered the second torn ACL injury of his professional career.

"Bringing back Laureano should be nothing more than insurance following a season that involved many injuries to the lineup."

Bringing Laureano back may not be a big move, but it would be the right one. He's projected to get $21 million over two years and Atlanta should oblige.
