Yankees vs. Royals Game 1 ALDS already made postseason history

The New York Yankees and Kansas City Royals was an intense battle on Saturday night as Game 1 of the American League Division Series got underway.

It was a back-and-forth battle throughout the entire night once the Royals took a 1-0 lead in the second inning.

After the Royals took their first lead, both teams combined for five lead changes after the Yankees took a 6-5 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning on an Alex Verdugo single.

According to Elias Sports Bureau, it's the first time in MLB postseason history that a single game had five lead changes.

It's going to be a long series for both sides if the lead changes continue to hold as they did in Game 1.

very good ballgame but it's a shame that the umpires still can't make the correct calls even with replay.
