The 2024 Major League Baseball postseason is in full swing.

It already has been an interesting postseason with some upsets. Luckily, we are just in the divisions series, so there still is plenty of baseball left to go, but the Atlanta Braves' season is over.

Atlanta showed a lot of grit and heart, even making the postseason after all of the injuries the club had. The Braves lost multiple superstars. This would've probably killed any other club's chances of making the playoffs, but the Braves surprised people. The season didn't go how they wanted, though, and now they can look ahead to 2025.

There will be plenty of rumors and speculation over the next few weeks as free agency starts to approach. Soon enough, free agency will begin, and there will be some former members of the Braves on the open market, including slugger Joc Pederson.

He spent the 2024 season with the Arizona Diamondbacks and had 23 home runs and 64 RBIs. He's expected to cash in this winter and is projected to get a contract worth $29 million over two years.

If he's going to get a contract like that, it may be worth looking into a reunion for the Braves. They could use some outfield depth, although Pederson mainly is a designated hitter at this point in his career. He will be affordable and has a familiarity with the Braves already. Could a reunion make sense?
