The Detroit Lions didn't have center Frank Ragnow in the lineup for the Week 4 game against the Seattle Seahawks , as the veteran was dealing with a partially torn pec that led to the team sitting him.

But it would appear that Ragnow is good to go coming out of the bye week, as head coach Dan Campbell revealed he expects his star center to suit up against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

"It looks like we’re gonna get Frank back, and I think (Brian Branch) is in a good place," Campbell told 97.1 The Ticket's Costa and Jansen , according to Sports Illustrated's Christian Booher . "So it’s good, and now here we go.”

Campbell also revealed that Ragnow had an interesting way of trying to prove his health before the Seahawks game. The Lions head coach said Ragnow came out of nowhere and punched him to prove he was feeling better.

“Last week, right before Seattle, I walked down there to talk to our trainer and somebody punches me against the wall," Campbell explained. "And I’m not even paying attention because I’m looking at our trainer. And then I get punched again and I realize it’s Frank and he’s trying to show me that his pec is great. That’s his way of telling me, ‘Look how strong I am. It’s good, it’s healed.’ He’s in a good mindset, he’s ready and he wants to go.”

In Ragnow's absence, the Lions moved Graham Glasgow over to center and deployed Kayode Awosika at left guard. Awosika stepped up with an impressive performance, and the Lions ended up having their best offensive showing of 2024.

But there's no doubt that Detroit's offensive line is only at its very best when Ragnow is snapping the ball to quarterback Jared Goff, thus his return is huge for this offense.
