This week's Thursday night slate of college football is more crowded than past weeks with three games set to unfold.

James Madison (4-1) hosts Coastal Carolina (4-1) as two of the top teams in the Sun Belt clash. Sophomore quarterback Ethan Vasko threw for a season-high three touchdowns in Saturday's win for the Chanticleers. And Dukes quarterback Alonza Barnett III is two weeks removed rom a two-game stretch in which he totaled 13 touchdowns.

Middle Tennessee (1-4) and Louisiana Tech (1-3) look to steer their seasons back on track as they enter the thick of Conference USA play. The two foes have split the last six head-to-head matchups.

UTEP (0-5) eyes its first win of the year against Western Kentucky (3-2). The Hilltoppers nearly pulled off an upset last week against Boston College, but the Eagles scored 14 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to escape.
