The Week 6 contest between the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium will feature two teams riding high on a two-game winning streak.

The Lions are well-rested coming out of their bye, but before their break they put together two straight wins, one over the Arizona Cardinals and another over the Seattle Seahawks . The latter victory was most notable, though, as the Lions' offense had its best showing of the 2024 campaign by a mile.

The Cowboys certainly haven't played at their best this season but are still 3-2 and in the thick of things in the NFC East. Dallas managed to pull off a thrilling last-second victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 5.

The Lions are set to return two starters to their lineup, with defensive back Brian Branch and center Frank Ragnow expected to play. Meanwhile, the Cowboys are not certain to have Micah Parsons once again, although there's a chance DaRon Bland makes his 2024 debut.

Here's what experts think about the Week 6 game between the Lions and Cowboys.

NFL picks, predictions Week 6: Lions vs. Cowboys

Vinnie Iyer, Sporting News: Lions 27, Cowboys 24

Iyer: "The Lions will find a way to run all over Dallas with Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery, but they will have limited downfield passing success with Jared Goff, which will lead to some turnovers that keep Dak Prescott and Dallas in the game. The Cowboys' pass-happy attack will push it to the limit with Prescott picking apart plenty in Detroit's defense, but Gibbs and Montgomery combine to close it out well in the fourth quarter."

Bill Bender, Sporting News: Lions 30, Cowboys 20

Bender: "Their last meeting will be rehashed, but these are different teams. The Cowboys are dealing with injuries and have not averaged more than 4.0 yards per carry in a game since Week 1. That lack of a running game will lead to more sacks for Lions edge rusher Aidan Hutchinson. Detroit's balanced offense will be the difference, and Campbell will have a few wrinkles coming out of the bye week. The Lions are 6-1 ATS as a road favorite since last season."

Pete Prisco, CBS Sports: Lions 33, Cowboys 32

Prisco: "The Lions are off their bye, while the Cowboys are home after a tough victory over the Steelers on the road. Dallas is still undermanned on defense, which is not a good thing against this Lions offense. Look for both teams to score a lot here as the Lions also have defensive issues. The Lions will win a shootout, but it's close."
