    Devin Singletary injury update: New York Giants RB downgraded in Week 6

    New York Giants running back Devin Singletary is dealing with a groin injury ahead of the Week 6 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals .

    The Giants' starting running back was inactive for the Week 5 game against the Seattle Seahawks, which led to a breakout game from rookie Tyrone Tracy Jr.

    Singletary was a limited participant at practice all week and was given a questionable tag on the final injury report.

    While Singletary seemingly had a chance to play, the Giants downgraded the veteran back from questionable to out on Saturday.

    This means there will be another week of Tracy leading the backfield after the exploded for 18 carries and 129 rushing yard against the Seahawks.

    The Giants also elevated rookie running back Dante Miller from the practice squad, which is the same move they made last week.

    Singletary has 56 carries for 221 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns along with 10 receptions for 72 yards through the team's first four games.

    The Giants also downgraded punter Jamie Gillan (hamstring) and wide receiver Bryce Ford-Wheaton (shoulder) to out for the game.
