The Packers have enjoyed a fruitful start to their Week 6 duel against the Cardinals, with Jordan Love, Josh Jacobs, and the rest of Green Bay's attack looking fearsome during the contest's opening paces.

Fueled by Love, who tallied three scores in the game's first two quarters, the Packers look in control. If they want to maintain their grasp of control over Arizona, they might have to do so without one of their more useful targets — second-year pass-catcher Dontayvion Wicks, who appeared to sustain a shoulder issue.

Here's the latest on the talented wideout and his status going forward.

    Donatayvion Wicks injury update

Wicks left Sunday's contest after sustaining a shoulder injury partway through Sunday's clash with the Cardinals. The Virginia alum was briefly examined by medical personnel before being ruled out for the remainder of the game.

Wicks nabbed one catch for nine yards at the time of his exit. He's struggled to maintain the level of performance he put forth earlier in the year, particularly a five-catch, 78-yard, two-touchdown outing against the Vikings, but Wicks is still a valuable part of the Packers receiving corps.
